Reminder: Larchmont Children’s Drawing Contest Deadline Coming Up!

Has your child entered the Larchmont Village Children’s Drawing Contest yet?  If not, it’s time to pull out the crayons, pencils and other creative tools – the deadline is this coming Saturday, November 12, 2016!

The theme of the contest is “Play,” and the Buzz and co-sponsors Landis’ Labyrinth Toy Shop and Art Works Studio can’t wait to see what inspires our neighborhood children.  Here are the details:

Contest Theme:
“Play”

Age Groups:
Ages 2 years to 5 years
Ages 6 years to 12 years

Subject:
Anything involving or depicting “Play” – open to your imagination!

Media specifications:
Please use only chalk, crayon, ink, marker, pastels, or pencil/colored pencils…on paper.

Deadline:
Saturday, November 12th, 2016
(Note: November 12th is also Neighborhood Toy Store Day, so be sure to stop in Landis’ Labyrinth, drop off your drawing, and buy something new and fun to take home!)

How to Submit:
Drop off drawings – on or before November 12 – at Landis’ Labyrinth Toy Store, 140 North Larchmont Boulevard.

Other Information:
* Submissions are limited to one drawing per person, for each age group.

* Submissions must include: Drawing Title, Child’s Name, Age, plus Parent’s Name and Contact Information (Phone and/or Email), along with original drawing.

* Judging will take place – by representatives of the three sponsoring organizations – during the week following the November 12th deadline.

* Winning drawings will be announced and published in the Larchmont Buzz.

* Prizes will include Landis’ Labyrinth gift certificates, as well as one free art class from Art Works Studio.

* Employees of the three sponsoring companies, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter or win.
