Six Local Eateries Among EaterLA’s “38 Essential Restaurants – Winter 2016”

eater38header

We’ve long known that our part of Los Angeles is home to some of the best food in town, and that fact is regularly validated by inclusion of many of our local eateries in various “best of” lists.  The latest one to call out several of our nearby restaurants is the most recent edition of website EaterLA’s38 Essential Restaurants” list, which this time includes six of our area favorites:

# 16 – Odys & Penelope – 127 s. La Brea

#17 – Republique – 624 S. La Brea

#18 – Petit Trois – 718 N. Highland

#19 – Troi Mec – 716 N. Highland

#20 – Providence – 5955 Melrose Ave.

#34 – Jon & Vinny’s – 412 N. Fairfax

It’s probably also worth noting that three of these six – Petit Troi, Troi Mec and Jon & Vinny’s – are run by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo, who  – along with their partner in Troi Mec and Petit Trois, Ludo Lefebvre – are definitely having their moment (or decade?) in the LA restaurant scene right now.
