SpaceX Rocket Launch Causes Excitement…and Great Photos

Last night, shortly after 5:30 p.m., the SpaceX company launched a Falcon 9 rocket and lit up not only the nighttime sky, but social media feeds all over LA…with great pictures of the blast…and more than a few (thousand) “What was that?” questions.

Buzz reader Linda Sanoff sent us a couple of her images, above and below, taken from the corner of Rosewood and Cherokee. If anyone else has photos they’d like to share, we’d love to see them – please post in the comments below!
