Take the LAPD Basic Car Survey

As part of its efforts to update police coverage and focus its resources in our neighborhoods, the LAPD is conducting a new survey of residents in its various Basic Car areas.  The survey takes less than five minutes to complete, and will help the LAPD figure out how to distribute (or redistribute) its resources in the coming months.  Here are the details:

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is seeking your input to help improve patrol staffing, reduce response times, and increase LAPD community patrols. Completing this study will help LAPD allocate patrol cars and officers more effectively, and can help build safer neighborhoods for all.

The Basic Car Study is an important part of the process to update our basic car areas, and the community survey portion of the study is needed to make sure future changes to how we deploy officers to keep our communities safe reflects the reality in our neighborhoods.

This survey closes May 13th. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and speak up for your neighborhood –> https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LAPDsurvey

Your responses will be much appreciated!
