The Original Farmers Market: April Merchant of the Month

Sponsored Post:

While The Original Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax has always been the perfect grocery shopping destination, the new Merchant of the Month program is destined to become the talk of the neighborhood. All through 2019, a different grocer at the Market will be offering a terrific special,  including deals on everything from pastries and produce to meats and marinades.  Celebrating 85 years of business, this new monthly program is the perfect way to enjoy the best the Market has to offer.

This month’s spotlight is on Michelina Artisan Boulanger, a true French boulangerie and patisserie at the Market. From freshly baked breads and delectable pastries to a range of sandwiches, salads, tartines and more, Michelina’s delicacies transport you to Paris without ever leaving town.

Owner Vincent Benoliel bakes love into every loaf, with breads and specialty treats made right on site at Third and Fairfax, with rotating favorites such as the chocolate baguettes and maple pecan loafs making a special appearance. Michelina is also known for its finely crafted croissants and tarts, offering classic flavors along with unique varieties perfect for any occasion. If you are planning an Easter celebration, be sure to pick up a festive Le Carrot Cake in an adorable white chocolate pot!

Throughout April, shoppers that spend $15 or more on any take-home breads, pastries, or desserts will receive a free macaron (limit one per purchase). This offer expires on April 30th but stay tuned for a new Merchant of the Month in May!

FUN FACT: Did you know Michelina’s most popular item is their baguette?  They sell an average of 900 baguettes per week!
