Larchmont Blvd is the place to be on Thursday evening to sampleĀ a new fragrance, check out a new women’s athletic wear brand and taste ice creams from the newest neighbor on the street. Starting at 5 pm you will want to stop in at Malin+Goetz, Aella Clothing and Jeni’s Ice Creams who are all three hosting events on Thursday evening.

MalingoetzrumMalin+Geotz are celebrating the launch of their new Rum eau de parfum and body lotion. Ā Area Manager Gabriel McVay told the Buzz thatĀ Bespoke cocktails inspired by the fragrance will be served, courtesy of Zacapa Rum. Be sure to stop by the store at 238 N Larchmont from 5-8pm and check out the gifts given with purchase.

AELLAĀ Clothing at 128 1/2 N Larchmont is hosting a trunk show featuringĀ Spitfire Petites, an athletic wear Spitfiretrunkshowbrand featuring yoga, Ā golf and tennis wear styledĀ exclusively for petite women.

AELLA (pronounced ay-luh) who popped up on Larchmont in February (and will be leaving Larchmont at the end of the month)Ā is a Los Angeles-designed and produced brand founded by a woman, Eunice Cho has been introducing women-owned clothing and accessories to the neighborhood during her latest stay on Larchmont.

Thursday night she is hosting a trunk show for Spitfire Petites also a woman-owned clothing line. Founder and CEO Amy Lipton, created her clothing line to fill a gap in the market, after years of searching for and not finding fashionable athletic wear designed for petite women. Lipton a marketing executive and athleteĀ identified a gap in the market of stylish athletic wear for women on the move like herself, 5ā€™4ā€ and under, with an active lifestyle and no time to change. Lipton designed the line to transition straight from the course, court, or gym, to brunch, happy hour, the movies, and even a quick stop at the office. Ā Founded in 2016, Spitfire Petite apparel is manufactured in NYCā€™s garment district.

Both Lipton and ChoĀ will be there Thursday evening from 5-8 pm for the festive Champagne reception with goodies and the change to win a Spitfire Petites gift card. Spitfire Petites is also offering a 20% discount in store and onlineĀ AELLA20Ā through April 30, 2017.

After all yourĀ shopping, stop by Jeni’s Ice CreamsĀ at 123 N Larchmont for their opening celebration with free ice cream for all from 7 – 11 pm. The first 50 ice cream lovers in line (yes, expect a line!) get a swag bag too. Founder and chief ice cream maker Jeni Britton will be on hand to open here latest LA scoop shop.
