Metro will be starting pile installations across La Brea Ave.this weekend, for the Wilshire/La Brea subway station. Â This means that the northbound lanes of La Brea will be closed at Wilshire, both this weekend and next, from 9:00 p.m. tonight (Friday, January 8) through 6 a.m. Monday, January 11.
The lanes will also be closed again next weekend during the same hours. Â The actual pile installation work will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, on both weekends, weather permitting.
During the hours that the northbound lanes are closed, on both weekends, southbound La Brea will be reduced to one lane from 6th Street to Wilshire.
