Van Ness Elementary School Tours Scheduled

It’s only January, but – yes – school tour season is starting for parents interested in checking out potential new schools for their children next year.

Van Ness Elementary School, 501 N. Van Ness Ave., is the first school we’ve seen to put tour dates on the calendar.  It will welcome prospective parents on Friday, January 19th and Friday, February 16, from 9 to 10 a.m.

Everyone is welcome to come and learn more about this API 800+ school and its programs (including STEM instruction and an EnrichLA school garden).  The tours will be led by school principal Jung Hong and parent volunteers.  More information is available on the school website at http://www.vannesselementary.com, or you can call the school directly at  (323) 469-0992.
