Are you concerned about how we can live with the native wildlife in our urban neighborhoods? Â Would you like to learn about a new urban wildlife management program that might be available to pilot in our community?
On Wednesday, March 2, 2016, join the Larchmont Buzz and the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council, along with representatives from the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, for an introductory discussion of Wildlife Watch, a community-centered urban wildlife program – similar to Crime Watch – in which teams of local residents are trained to observe, evaluate and report various kinds of wildlife interactions.
The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, at the Ebell of Los Angeles, 741 S. Lucerne Blvd. Â Free parking is available on Lucerne, or in the large lot across the street from the Ebell.
Please join us to find out more about this new program and whether it might be a good option for wildlife management in your neighborhood.
[Please note that this meeting is informational only, and will focus on one specific potential option for living with our urban wildlife. Â It is not intended to be comprehensive forum on the larger general topic of wildlife management.]
