Thursday night might be the easiest fundraiser you go to all year. It’s the Wilshire Warriors 12u Blue team “take over” of the Little Bar Lounge to raise travel funds for the team’s Cooperstown trip to compete against teams from across the nation this August.
Wilshire Warrior parent and league honcho Heather Boylston told the Buzz, “Wilshire Warrior dad and owner of the Little Bar, Angelo Vacco, has been kind enough to give us 50% of all sales from the night to our team going to Cooperstown.”
“Many of the kids on our team have been together since they were 7. Each and every kid has worked hard to become the best they can be and they have all developed life-long friendships in the process. This experience culminates in Cooperstown this August.
“The Little Bar is a great neighborhood bar on La Brea. All are welcome! Of all the charity events we all have to go to….how hard is it to drink a beer and it help the team ;)” said Boylston.
