To help protect the environment and our quality of life, the Los Angeles City Council is considering a Reusable Bag Policy that will prohibit single-use paper and plastic carryout bags at supermarkets and some retail outlets. To provide more information about the ban, and how it could affect waste reduction, litter, our impact on the environment and our quality of life, the City will be hosting two workshops on Saturday, March 10th to discuss the proposed policy:
