Windsor Village (WV) hosted its Annual Picnic/Potluck on Saturday Sept 8th, and was honored with the presence of two City Council members at the event: Councilman Herb Wesson of CD 10 and Councilman Tom LaBonge of CD4.
Windsor Village, located between Wilshire and Olympic, Lucerne and Lorraine, was moved from CD 10 to CD 4 in the recent redistricting, joining fellow associations in the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council under LaBonge’s tutelage. Windsor Village had many long productive years of work with Herb Wesson’s office however, and wanted to thank the Councilman and his staff for their support over the years, which included becoming one of the city’s newest HPOZs.
The event was hosted at the home of Victoria Bascoy on Windsor Blvd, and included a visit by the LA Fire Department with trucks for the neighborhood children to climb upon.
