Hancock Park’s Manny Pacquiao Gets a Blessing at Christ the King Church

Manny Pacquiao faces the latest challenger to his WBO welterweight belt this weekend in Las Vegas. Pacquiao [54-3-2 (38 KO)] goes against unbeaten welterweight Timothy Bradley [28-0-0 (12 KO)] on Saturday June 9th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

For the past month, Pacquiao has been going through his normal training schedule – spending the time immediately before the fight at his second home in Hancock Park and training on Vine Street with his team at the Wild Card Boxing Club.

Larchmont Buzz discovered a story on a Filipino Boxing site about the Pacquiao family’s visit to Christ the King Church this past Sunday to celebrate Mass and to get a blessing before heading to Las Vegas. Good luck to Manny – Mgsr. Montoya is known to have a lucky touch!
