Chevalier’s Books is welcoming authors Ben Loory, Isabel Quintero and Mary Woronov for the second event of their new monthly literary series. They will be reading from and signing their books on Thursday, June 4th, at 7:00 pm. at 126 N. Larchmont Blvd.
This event will feature something for everyone – kids’ books, young adult, poetry, short stories, memoirs and novels.
Once again, the readings will be infused with a bit of open mic poetry, attendees may bring their own poems to share with the audience.
In celebration of Chevalier’s 75th year as your local independent bookstore on Larchmont Blvd, the store has launched a monthly literary series. Under the aegis of new owners, Bert Deixler and Darryl Holter and in tandem with authors Rich Ferguson, CLS Ferguson and Stephanie Hammer, plus a bit of help from Liz at the bookstore, Chevalier’s will be hosting authors from across the spectrum of the vibrant, SoCal literary scene.
Chevalier’s bookstore is delighted to reach out to the community through the power of words. On the first Thursday evening of every month, they will offer a space to gather, to chat, browse, and connect with other literature-loving neighbors as they listen to some of the wonderful creative writers who live in our midst.
