Blogger Turned Author Signs ‘Dinner: A Love Story’ at Chevalier’s

Jenny Rosenstrach has kept a dinner diary for more than 14 years…chronicling every meal she and her family have enjoyed together. It started out as a way of organizing the week ahead by planning meals and making sure that variety ruled the day. Over time, it has become a reference book memorializing great meals and life events their growing family have shared. And there is a deep satisfaction in knowing that she has fed her family well.

Rosenstrach started a blog a called Dinner: A Love Story in March of 2010 in an effort to inspire other parents — with recipes, insights, rituals — to invest the time in creating a family dinner time that stimulates both conversation and the palate.

And now, the blog has turned into a book with the same name – Dinner: A Love Story. It’s a cookbook/memoir that covers all the things that can happen at the family dinner table during all stages of a family’s life. It contains nearly 120 recipes (favorites from the blog as well as brand new soon-to-be favorites) and over 50 color photographs.

Rosenstrach will be at Chevalier’s this Friday afternoon for a book signing.  We recommend you spend some time getting to know her blog – starting with this post ‘What to Cook Tonight‘. You can see how she thinks and how useful her food organization skills can be in your life!
