Grand Park Downtown LA Bookfest Presents Invitation to Explore

GP_DOWNTOWN-BOOKFEST_600X3003

The Grand Park annual Downtown Bookfest comes to town Saturday, March 29 from 12p – 6p. This event represents the largest coalition of Los Angeles-based presses and publishers along with readings, music and more. The event is free and open to the public.

This Bookfest is a great reason to get out of your normal routine and make a day of it in Downtown LA. You can take Metro from either Western and Wilshire or Beverly and Vermont and be at Grand Park in less than 20 minutes. Plus, you’ll save on parking. Think about setting your course via the Google Maps app on your smart phone…set the route via bus rather than car and Google will present you with a door-to-door routing, including departure times for buses and trains.

So how about it?  Lunch at Grand Central Market. The Downtown Bookfest at Grand Park.  It sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday.
