R. Nichols Hanzlik (Nick) began cutting and pasting intricate designs in the 6th grade and never stopped. Fifteen years ago, he founded R. Nichols, designing and selling hip and stylish stationery around the world.
A self proclaimed Francophile, Nick was thrilled to illustrate the international bestseller “French Women Don’t Get Fat” by Mireille Guiliano, as well as her subsequent books. Over the years he has done projects for Fresh, Barneys New York, The Hollywood Bowl, Epcot, Clilquot, Inc., and many others. Most recently he collaborated with fragrance guru Gary McNatton (former Senior VP of Gap) to create a line of whimsical and luxurious scented candles debuting this fall. He lives in Los Angeles.
