rallymap

In the wake of Donald Trump’s election as U.S. President this week, there is going to be a large protest march today, beginning with a rally at 10 a.m. at MacArthur Park, and then proceeding to the U.S. Federal Building in downtown L.A.  The event was organized by Tierra y Libertad – Union del Barrio Los Angeles, and is endorsed by a number of other local social action groups

As of this morning, according to the event’s Facebook page, more than 40,000 people have expressed some degree of interest in attending the event, which indicates that if you do plan to attend, it might be a good idea to bike, walk or take public transportation…and if you do not plan to attend, you might want to be aware of potential traffic issues near the park and march route.
