Police BBQ Lunch for Unity Bike Tour

LAPD’s Olympic Division is going to be serving up carne asada and chicken tacos on Wednesday April 1st during lunch and dinner to raise funds to support LAPD officers bicycling from New Jersey to Washington DC in the Police Unity Tour.

Senior Lead Officer Joe Pelayo told the Larchmont Buzz that this year six local officers will be riding in the event, including Officer Pelayo himself, and SLO Eric Mollinedo, SLO Gordon Helper, Officer Rusty Redican, Officer Luz Bermudez and Officer Walter Casasola.

The LAPD will be riding in memory of Nick Lee, Chris Cortijo and Roberto Sanchez.

Drop in at the Olympic Station anytime from 11 am to 8 pm for your tacos, beans rice, chips cake and drink, for $10/person. The new head of the Olympic Division, Captain Palazzolo, will also be on hand to meet and greet the public at 11 am.
