St. Brendan School is hosting a blood drive this Tuesday, May 28th from 10 am – 4 pm in the Parish Center, located on the St Brendan campus at 238 S. Manhattan Place (just north of Third St.) The tornado tragedy currently underway in Oklahoma should be a reminder to Angelenos that getting blood supplies “in the bank” is always crucial, but even more critical when communities face true crisis.
“It takes about an hour to donate,” Jackie Kruse, Chair of the St Brendan event, told the Buzz. There is ample parking right at the Parish hall, just find the driveway next to the school, mid-way down the block at 238 S. Manhattan Place, one block west of Western Ave.
Run by the Red Cross, appointments can easily be reserved for the St Brendan event via the Red Cross reservation system or call Jackie Kruse direct at 323-788-7199 and she may find a way to get you in at the most convenient time for you. The blood drive is occurring the day after the long Memorial Day weekend, so call in or check in and put it on your calendar today!
