Sunday’s Block Party on Lucerne Celebrating 37th Year

bouncehouse

The 500 block of South Lucerne Boulevard is hosting their annual Block Party for the 37th (!) time, and this year’s theme is “Best in Show” – a pet competition with Dr. Jack Ciganek from Larchmont Animal Clinic serving as one of the judges.

The block party will feature lots of family fun including bounce houses, henna tattoos, a petting zoo, magic show, taco truck, a “dessert zone” and wine bar. But most importantly, a time to reconnect with your neighbors, let your kids play in the street,  and show off your pets. Join in the fun 3pm to dusk, Sunday, October 13, 2013.

  1. Back in the day that block party was put on both by and for the 300, 400, 500, 600 blocks of Lucerne, Arden and Plymouth. It always rotated between the three blocks south of 3rd street on Lucerne.

Is is really now open to the general public? I don’t think so.
