Tom La Bonge, Councilman for CD 4, is kicking off his summer evening bike rides this Thursday, June 14th. All rides take place 6-8 pm through the streets of Los Angeles, with LAPD providing traffic support. Specific starting locations will be posted in advance of each route ride on tomlabonge.com but the general outline of the summer series includes the following areas:
All rides take place on Thursday evenings: Stage 1: City Hall – June 14 Stage 2: Fourth Street – June 21 Stage 3: Toluca Lake – July 19 Stage 4: LA River/Silver Lake – July 26 Stage 5: Sherman Oaks – August 2 Stage 6: Hollywood – August 9All riders must be at least 12 years old, no pets allowed. Helmets are required, participants will be asked to sign waivers.
