The Last Bookstore, the largest independent bookstore in Southern California, is hosting a book signing Saturday afternoon for Hancock Park author Tere Tereba. Tereba will read a passage from her 2012 biography Mickey Cohen: The Life and Crimes of L.A.’s Notorious Mobster.
The book is a great read – especially for people interested in the history of our City. Tereba’s research is meticulous and the book is full of great stories and rich pictures that bring the past to life.
Sounds like a fun outing for Saturday afternoon! Visit the book signing and then go check out one of Downtown’s great restaurants for an early dinner…here are a few suggestions within walking distance of The Last Bookstore. We recommend you walk over and take a cab back to your parked car…
If you can’t make it to the book signing, you can catch Tereba on Fox 11 LA’s 5p news on August 14th where she’ll be making an appearance on Studio 11.The Last Bookstore Tere Tereba Book Signing Saturday August 11 at 3p 453 South Spring Street (entrance 5th Street) Los Angeles, CA
