And now, a chance to pull an all-nighter-cum-sleepover-cum-film festival. All in a cemetery.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery will be hosting its Second Annual Cinespia Summer Camp from dusk till dawn this Saturday, August 18th in the graveyard, and presenting movies and music all night long.

The gates will be open all night allowing patrons to set up any time during the evening, and park inside the cemetery. Cinespia suggests bringing a sleeping bag, food and drink. They’ll be serving up free ‘pour-over’ Intelligentsia coffees and a string of DJs spinning music between the pics.  No tents or fires allowed. The summer-themed cinema line-up includes:

WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER (2001) at 8:30pm -The classic comedy starring Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks and Amy Poehler;

SLEEPAWAY CAMP (1983) at Midnight – The summer camp horror film about a slasher stalking camp kids with the most jaw-dropping ending of all time!

LITTLE DARLINGS (1980) late night-Two girls from different sides of the tracks compete to see who will be first to lose their virginity while at camp.

It just may be the perfect wind-down to summer’s end: find your place under, and next to, Hollywood’s stars and settle in for an overnight adventure.

Tickets available pre-purchased online for $8-10/person, or at the door for $12.
