Most of us don’t take the time to just sit and watch the world walk by.
So Carthay Circle filmmaker Alan Marino did just that for us, perched on a bench on Larchmont Blvd. His one minute video piece “Chasing Pavements” borrows the Adele song, the Larchmont streetscape, and people passing by to let us all settle for a moment, and let the familiar Larchmont life unfold before us.
Alan Marino is a guerrilla filmmaker living in Carthay Circle who tramples through the jungle that is Los Angeles. More of his work can be seen on Vimeo.
