It may have been a bit dreary in Hancock Park yesterday for most of us, but not for the hundreds of runners that turned out at Dodger Stadium for the Color Run.
The 5K run that is staged in cities across America is not so much a race for speed but a run for fun and fitness. Taking a circuitous approximately 2 mile route through the Dodger Stadium grounds, runners wearing white shirts get splashed with color made from a food based cornstarch. Â A portion of race fees are donated to a different charity each year, and this year’s LA race funds went to Casa Colina, a rehabilitation center.
Buzz contributing photographer Alexandra Cooper put herself and her camera in the midst of the color explosions to get some excellent shots of Saturday’s race. Enjoy!
