Star Wars fans gathered at Landis Labyrinth toy store on Larchmont Blvd yesterday afternoon with dueling light sabers to celebrate the unofficial Star Wars Day, Â a.k.a. “May the 4th Be With You.”
The local celebration was organized by Landis Labyrinth staffer Laura Sammons, a self-declared Star Wars nerd, who thought it would make for a fun afternoon where kids of all ages could play Star Wars and win prizes from the store.
To enter the competition, kids were invited to participate in four ways: color a Star Wars coloring page for the store art show; solve a maze;Â Â dress up like their favorite Star Wars character and take a photo for the store photo album; or use the store Star Wars props and pose for a photo.
Judging from the photos shared by Landis Labyrinth, the forces of good prevailed in the Larchmont Galaxy!
