We wrote about this upcoming auction earlier this year in the post Banksy from Josh’s Valero to Sell at Auction; Likely Worth $150,000+.

The former owner of the Valero that used to be at Beverly and La Brea sold his gas station a couple of years ago, but not without removing the section of a wall where an original Banksy street art had been painted. Here’s a picture of the Street Art either under cover or being removed (as captured by Google Street View team):

This Valero is now a Chevron station.

That wall – with Banksy’s ‘Flower Girl’ and all – will be on auction at Julien’s inaugural Street Art Auction next week and is expected to bring more than $150,000. Viewings begin on Monday. The auction is scheduled for Thursday, December 5 at 6pm.
