Time to Stop and Assess the Missed Opportunities on Larchmont

An astute reader sent us a photo recently that gave us pause. As I told him, I used to live on Gower Street for a long time and we walked to Larchmont multiple times every week along that stretch of Beverly that leads to Larchmont Boulevard. I never once noticed the missed parking opportunity that was there for the taking!

Seems they tow only authorized cars from the lot behind Noah’s. Somehow, I’m sure they would get you on the fact that the code is listed…but it sure would be fun to have a go at justifying a free space for an afternoon. Especially with the quick-triggered LADOT parking enforcers.

I bet that sign has been in that state for more than 15 years!

Thanks to Larchmont Buzz reader Stuart Melvin for sharing the fun.
