It feels like we have experienced all four seasons in one week. A windy Sunday felt a bit like fall. A quick winter/spring has been compressed into the middle of the week with puffy clouds, a crisp chill and welcome rain. And by Sunday, weather forecasts project a summer- like 80 degrees.
NOAA supplies rainfall information to the weather.gov website. The closest automated gauges to the Greater Wilshire area are at USC and they indicate that the area received less than a quarter of an inch of rain in the last 24 hours.
Reader Stephanie Izen (@stephanieizen) shared her shot via Twitter of a beautiful rainbow hanging over what looks like The Ebell parking lot. The sky is scrubbed and the next few days should be back to “perfect”. Enjoy!
