According to the Downtown News, the A+D Architecture and Design Museum will move from Museum Row along Wilshire Boulevard to an 8,000 square foot space in a building on 4th Street and Colyton in LA’s Art District.

The A+D Museum moved to its current spot on Wilshire Boulevard at South Orange Grove Avenue (across from LACMA) in 2010. Shortly after their move-in, Metro announced the extension of the Purple Line – with a planned station right under the A+D building. The City of Los Angeles will enforce eminent domain on the property and the Metropolitan Transit Authority will raze the building to make room for the Fairfax Metro station.

The A+D Museum plans to move downtown next summer.
