DNC Fundraiser Rescheduled; First Lady Michelle Obama Stands In

hancock_park

The DNC fundraiser featuring President Obama and originally scheduled for Monday, September 9th has been rescheduled.  Everything about the event has changed just a little…except for the location – Hancock Park.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the event is now scheduled for Friday, October 11 at the Hancock Park home of ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ creator Philip Rosenthal and his wife, actress Monica Horan.

The President’s wife, First Lady Michelle Obama will stand in as the guest of honor.

The DNC email to potential contributors notes that the event will be about 1-hour in length.

Traffic updates to follow…but the First Lady’s security detail should have far less impact on traffic in our area than the previously planned visit that included two stops between downtown and Hancock Park  for President Obama.
