Fatal Traffic Collision at 3rd and La Brea in Hancock Park

A fatal traffic collision took place at the corner of 3rd Street and La Brea in Hancock Park at 3:55pm Friday afternoon. The incident involved a pedestrian who was hit by a truck while crossing 3rd Street on the east side of La Brea. There are no details available on the identity of the deceased.

La Brea was closed between 2nd Street and 4th Street for several hours while LAPD and associated departments could conduct an investigation.

  1. How very sad, we need to find a way to make our streets more pedestrian friendly as we build more densely in our neighborhood.
