FlyAway Bus to LAX Now Serving LaBrea Expo Stop

FlyAway-bus-full

Finally! An alternative to offer your incoming guests when you can’t (or don’t want to) do the airport pickup shuffle, circling LAX again and again as they wait for their baggage to hit the carousel. The LAX FlyAway Bus will be making a direct route between LAX and La Brea at the Expo Line railway stop at La Brea Ave and Exposition Blvd, just four blocks south of Interstate 10 and not far from the greater Wilshire area.

The new LaBrea route began July 1st, and to encourage ridership will cost only $6/one way until December 31st.  The FlyAway buses drop-off passengers on the Upper/Departures Level of each terminal at LAX and pick up passengers on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green the green “Flyaway” signs as seen below. Each bus is marked with its service location, some heading to Irvine, others to Union Station, Van Nuys and Westwood. Reservations are not required.

FlyAway does not accept cash, but will take credit or debit cards at the bus. Children under 5 travel free. There is no short or long term parking available onsite, so this is seriously only a “drop off” or “pick up” opportunity.

The schedule is pretty simple – buses depart the Expo/La Brea stop on the “even” hours of 6, 8, 10 am and 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 pm.

Buses pick up at Terminal 1 (a bit later for terminals 2-7) on the odd hours of 7, 9, 11 am and 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 pm.
