The Region 78 Hollywood Soccer team (AYSO Under 14) has been invited to compete in the National competition in Knoxville, TN this summer, but they need to raise funds to buy airfare for a number of their team players. Today is our chance to contribute and get the team off the ground and on their way to Tennessee.
Saturday, June 2nd the team will be handing out flyers on Larchmont to use at Jamba Juice between 12-3 pm. Â The flyer is also available here if you’d like to print out your own to take in. Ten percent of all proceeds from Jamba sales during the afternoon period will go to the team. Look for team girls in orange shirts on the Boulevard, ready to raise funds for their teammates.
A second opportunity to help out is to bid in the team’s auction of Hollywood memorabilia and books on eBay Giving Works.   The site allows you to donate goods for sale online, or to bid on the items they already have on board. It’s an easy way to support the cause without leaving your home or office.
