Larchmont Village Alive with Food, Friends and Music Last Night

As the sun set over Larchmont last night, the crowds gathered for the 20th Annual Taste of Larchmont to benefit Hope-Net’s efforts to feed the hungry in Los Angeles.

Patti Carroll of Hollywoodland Realty served as MC announcing sponsors and prizes.

The Time Piece Jazz ensemble kept the crowd moving on the packed sidewalk near popular Prado.
Boy scouts from Troop 10 pitched in by emptying full garbage cans during the evening. Seen left to right: Ian McSpadden, Charles Wyson and Kelvyn Jamandre.
Councilman Tom LaBonge (r) and Field Deputy Ben Seinfeld of Council District 4 enjoyed the food and atmosphere while mingling with locals.
The sidewalks spilled over with people as supporters walked from business to business sampling the food options and getting their “Official Line Up Cards” checked off.
Tables from Le Petit Greek,, Larchmont Grill, Hamburger Hamlet and Pain Quotidian were popular throughout the evening.

Hope-Net was pleased to have the participation of many eateries in the area, including: California Roll & Sushi, Chan Dara, El Cholo, Hamburger Hamlet, La Bottega Marino, Larchmont Deli, Larchmont Grill, Le Pain Quotidien, Le Petit Greek, Louisa’s Trattoria, Prado, Village Pizzeria, Z Pizza, Coffee Bean & Tea, Jamba Juice, Larchmont Wine & Spirits, Baby Cakes, Baciami Cafe, Baskin Robbins, Cafe Gratitude, Canter’s Deli, Crumbs, Fanciful Foods, Miss Lily’s Cookies and Sweets for the Soul.

  1. Although Jamba Juice was on the list they refused to give samples. They said their boss didn’t mentioned their participation in the Taste event. And if we wanted service we would have to wait until all other paying customers before us and after us were served first.
