New Senior Lead Officer for Melrose Area

The V6 Ford Explorer was taking its first spin around Wilshire Division when we met Officer Jones in late June.

In Monday’s story on our local LAPD Senior Lead Officers, we noted there was no SLO currently assigned to Wilshire Division’s Basic Car Area 7A1  (north of Beverly and west of La Brea).  Today, however, we learned via the Melrose Village blog that a new SLO has been assigned to that area.  Her name is Inga Wecker, and she’ll be introduced at a community meeting at Canters Deli [419 N. Fairfax Ave, north of Oakwood Ave.], on Tuesday, August 25th at 9 a.m.

This will be a great chance for neighborhood residents to meet and chat with their new neighborhood liaison.  Welcome to the neighborhood, Officer Wecker!
