Overnight Fire at Wilshire-Rossmore Condominium Complex

Los Angeles Firefighters responded to an overnight blaze in a 3-story condo complex on the corner of Wilshire and Rossmore in Hancock Park.  According to LAFD spokesman Erik Scott, the LAFD was summoned at 12:42am and Firefighters from Fire Station 29 responded in less than 4-minutes to the 4477 Wilshire Boulevard residence.

Firefighters quickly put out the fire on the roof and attic. Additionally, they made sure that the building was evacuated. No one was injured.

Knockdown took a total of 90 Firefighters 41 minutes to achieve. It appears that the fire started in the elevator room on the roof of the building and spread through the attic. Three condo units on the third floor sustained fire and water damage. Several units below have water damage.
