Sycamore Avenue just South of Melrose Avenue will be closed for two weeks starting December 3rd as LADWP water crews continue work on an infrastructure improvement project. According to the LADWP, the plan is to connect Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Sycamore Trunk Line Project, a 36-inch trunk line replacement plan that will bring greater water reliability to the area.
Construction will occur between Monday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local access for area residents will be provided during construction hours. Normal traffic conditions will be restored at the end of each day.
The LADWP encourages drivers in the area to plan accordingly.
