LA Times Profiles Windsor Square Teen Jake Hofheimer

jakeheader

Recently the Los Angeles Times featured a poignant profile of Windsor Square transgender teen Jake Hofheimer and his family. When Jake’s mom Lisa reposted the story on Facebook, the outpouring of support from friends and family was immediate, thanking Jake and his family for sharing their deeply personal story of Jake’s transition.  It clearly touched a nerve at the Times as well – its story had more than 100 comments.

The Larchmont Buzz is proud to call the Hofheimers friends and congratulates them on the very brave act of publicly sharing such a personal story. It’s inspirational for us all.

  1. Patty – thanks for posting this! I went to law school with Josh, and I would’ve missed the LA Times article if you hadn’t posted. Amazing and beautiful story of the best kind of parenting and the bravest kind of kid. So inspiring.
