“She is Mrs. California,” said Governor Jerry Brown who has known Lucy Casado since before he entered politics, according to CityWatch’s profile of  Casado, the 88 year old owner of Lucy’s El Adobe restaurant. Located at 5536 Melrose Ave, Lucy’s has been a regular dining spot for many living in the Hancock Park area.
