The Thrive in Joy Nick Fagnano Foundation is holding its 2nd Annual Day of Giving in honor of Nick Fagnano, the 20-year-old Windsor Square resident who was tragically killed by a rare lightning strike at Venice Beach on July 27, 2014.  The foundation is asking for donations for 11 days to reach the goal of 111 donations by 11.11. According to his family, whenever Nick saw the time 11:11 on his phone he made a wish.
Funds raised will support work at an orphanage in the Dominican Republic to and provide encouragement to students at a school in Herrera, a desperately underserved community in Santo Domingo, and will be delivered Nick’s parents Jay and Mary.Â
