On Sunday, October 6th more than 150,000 people are expected to travel by foot, bike, skates, or any other non-motorized means of transportation to experience all that Downtown Los Angeles has to offer at CicLavia.
Wilshire Blvd became a river of cyclists on Sunday as the city celebrated the closing off of what might be considered the city’s only “main street”, stretching from the ocean to a dead end in downtown LA.
CicLAvia: Iconic Wilshire Boulevard takes place this Sunday right on our doorstep! The route is all about Wilshire Boulevard, with a car-less Boulevard between Downtown Los Angeles and Fairfax Avenue.
Hidden Los Angeles and CicLAvia are pleased to present the Iconic Wilshire Boulevard Salon, a celebration and discussion of the grand Los Angeles thoroughfare. The salon will be held on Thursday, June 20 from 7p-9p and will examine the Boulevard that is the focus of the June 23 CicLAvia car-free, open streets event.
