Larchmont Blvd. Power Outage

Portions of the east side of Larchmont Blvd. have been without power for much of the last 3 days due to the high wind storms earlier this week. Currently portions of  the west side of the street are also without power as they need to fix line problems there to get the neighborhood back in business.  The Buzz spoke with DWP reps who won’t give a time frame for completion and full restoration of power, but expect everything to be up and running by the end of the day.

Starbucks and some of the food establishments on the east side are not serving, but other businesses are still open and operating without power.

Tom LaBonge was seen on the street talking with shoppers and encouraging the DWP workers to get the job done so that business could get back to normal as soon as possible.

Kudos to the power line professionals who have been working hard to get Larchmont up and running again.
