Serving Larchmont Village, Hancock Park, and the Greater Wilshire neighborhoods of Los Angeles since 2011.

At Home With History

Three local neighborhoods are featured this year in an  “At Home With History” tour on Sunday, Nov.6, 2011,  from 10am – 4 pm.

Known as the “Triplets”, the three old neighborhoods, but new Historic Preservation Overlay Zones (HPOZs), all share a corner  just south of Windsor Square, and will be managed as HPOZs by City Planning under a single umbrella. All three – Country Club Park, Windsor Village and Wilshire Park – have some stand-out properties and are a five minute drive from Larchmont Blvd.

Participants will be able to  walk through all six showcased properties for a $40 ticket from the LA Conservancy. Included on the tour are the Milbank Mansion (above right), the 1915 Prairie style home  of the Wilton family (above left) and a number of other exciting properties. You can view the homes at your own pace, and in whatever order you prefer. Docents will be on hand. For more information and tickets see the LA Conservancy site.
