BBQ at Firehouse to Honor Shepherd

Local Fire Station 29, on the corner of Van Ness and Wilshire Blvd, will host a BBQ TODAY Saturday, September 24 from 11 am-4 pm  to honor fireman Eric “Shep” Shepherd who died while off-duty, in July.  There will be a raffle, music, food, and a remembrance. Many of you may have encountered Shep while he served with Station 29 either responding to an emergency call, or on Larchmont when the LAFD crew sometimes stopped for coffee.

Donations will go to the Sarai Shepherd Educational Fund for his daughter.

See the event announcement.
