The second installment of Councilman Tom LaBonge’s bike tour happens this Wednesday, July 16, in the Griffith Park area. Meet at 6pm at the Mulholland Fountain, corner of Los Feliz and Riverside Drive.
Buzz reader Keith Johnson, who is a model citizen daily bike rider, sent us photos from last week’s LaBonge ride, along with a sweet description of the downtown tour:
“Great ride, perfect weather too, starting from City Hall, and heading up Main St. with a quick stop at Olvera Street Plaza, then east to Boyle Heights & southward to 6th St. Bridge, through skid row (wow) and back up Main to City Hall where Tom arranged for us to park our bikes in the lobby. Headed up to the Observation Deck for grand view of the city at sunset with ice cream.” Keith Johnson.
