Today is the Vernal Equinox – Â the official beginning of spring – when the axis of the earth is angled just right to create an equal amount of daytime and nighttime, with the promise of days growing longer (and warmer) from here on in. A perfect time to hike Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park.
Join Councilman Tom LaBonge (Council District 4) to hike to the top of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. Meet at the Charlie Turner Trailhead at the north ednd of the Griffith Observatory parking lot (map below) at 5 pm for the two hour trek to the top.
