Actors Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges will share the Bing Theater stage on Monday August 4th as the two brothers converse about their long and versatile careers as well as that of their father, Lloyd Bridges. The Bridges brothers will select clips from each other’s work and discuss the “legacy of a legendary Hollywood dynasty”, says the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which is hosting the event.
Beau Bridges has been acting since a child in the late 1940s and is best known for his work in “Norma Rae” and “The Descendants.” He currently stars in the television series “Masters of Sex” and “The Millers.”
Jeff Bridges has been nominated for six Oscars, winning in 2009 for his lead performance in “Crazy Heart.” He’s best know for his work in “The Big Lebowski”, “Iron Man”, “True Grit”, and “The Last Picture Show” and will be seen later this summer in the sci-fi thriller “The Giver” with Meryl Streep and Brenton Thwaites.
