McConnell’s Ice Cream Visits Larchmont Boulevard Saturday

mcconnellsicecreams on InstagramSanta Barbara’s McConnell’s Fine Ice Cream will be visiting various sites in Los Angeles today in advance of their opening on Monday at downtown’s Grand Central Market. According to their Instagram feed, they will be on Larchmont later today with their McC’s Truck Tour pop-up…from 4:30p-5:15p in front of Go Get ’em Tiger.

McConnell’s is a family run, small batch ice cream maker that’s been in business along the Central Coast for more than 65 years. Until now you’ve been able to find pints of their ice cream locally at the Erewhon on Beverly, the Beachwood Market on Belden Drive, and in local locations of Whole Foods, Bristol Farms and Gelson’s. On Monday, you can add Grand Central Market to that list when they open in a stall near the Sticky Rice and Wexler’s Deli.

Here’s the McConnell’s Truck Tour LA Schedule so far:

  • Venice – 10:30a-11:30a | 1331 Abbot Kinney Boulevard
  • Fairfax District – 3p-4p | 6350 West 3rd Street at the Whole Foods
  • Larchmont Boulevard – 4:30p-5:15p | 230 North Larchmont Boulevard
  • Silverlake – time and exact location TBD
  • Grand Central Market – time TBD

Free ice cream for those who can brave the line! Stay tuned to their instagram or twitter account for more information.
